We are currently seeking a Japanese Influencer Marketing and PR Manager to join our Marketing team. As the Japanese Influencer Marketing and PR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing influencer marketing and PR strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement in the Japanese market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement in the Japanese market
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and content creators in Japan
- Create and manage influencer partnerships and collaborations
- Plan and execute PR campaigns to generate media coverage.
- Work with PR agencies and UK PR team to coordinate activity.
- Monitor and analyse influencer and PR campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated marketing and PR efforts
- Generate weekly reports to summarize key metrics, achievements and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Native in Japanese and fluent in English (both written and spoken) is essential
- At least 5 years experience in influencer marketing and PR in the Japanese market
- Previous experience working in an international business including UK, Europe and North America.
- Strong network of influencers and content creators in Japan
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively and self motivate, whilst working remotely.
- Knowledge of the beauty industry and trends
- Experience in managing PR agencies and media relationships
