ABOUT THE TEAMRevolut is the most exciting new business within the unicorn Revolut group, following the recent successful launch of Revolut Retail in Japan. We’re building a global platform for wealth and trading to give Revolut customers unprecedented friction-free access to the capital markets. Revolut does Operations differently. Working in Operations at Revolut will give you exposure to a range of different verticals, where you will deep dive into the fundamentals of each business area you work on. ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a motivated person who would like to establish our payment operations team to become responsible for settlement of securities transactions, confirmation of trades and investigation of various breaks. This involves having a deep understanding of how the securities settlement flows within the firm coupled with a high attention to detail. You will closely work with Team Revolut, including Operations amp; Strategy, Compliance, Technology, and Revolut’s counter-parties.
WHAT YOU NEED TO ACHIEVEYou will be responsible to design and implement settlement processes and organization to process Revolut Japan’s equities transactions, a new business we are preparing to launch next year. You will liaise with our compliance team to prevent fails, manage book and records, and to put in place appropriate regulatory reports
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING• Accurate and timely processing of transaction settlement with Revolut’s counterparties• Owning the transaction management process from account setup, reconciliation to record keeping• Investigating and resolving failed and unmatched transactions• Processing payments and equity settlement relating tasks and reports• Managing customer transaction data and stock static data• Liaise with global technology teams to define automated solutions to streamline all of the above processes
WHAT YOU'LL NEED• 3+ years experience in a Japanese equities operations (settlement) role• Knowledge of Japanese equity cash and stock settlement processes• Excellent fluency in English and Japanese• Technological curiosity, we expect all of our team to be able to learn SQL, even if you are new to it when you join• An understanding of the full transaction life cycle from account opening to record keeping
NICE TO HAVE• Knowledge of how to settle various different kinds of products (Crypto, CFD, etc.)• Knowledge of Margin and collateral Management• Have automated a process or designed a new process as part of your current or existing role• JSDA class I licenseA LITTLE ABOUT USWhen Revolut was founded in 2015, we had a vision to build a sustainable, digital alternative to traditional big banks.
