Responsibilities:
- Advise executives on company strategy (marketing, global expansion, headcount, etc.) based on analyses of internal/external data
- Contribute to quarterly/annual planning by organizing, analyzing, and communicating relevant data (user metrics, publisher metrics, etc.)
- Build spreadsheet models and perform forecasts of key company KPIs
- Support the data needs of the Finance team
- Forecast revenue and DAU based on past installs and retention rates
- Determine how initiatives impacted revenue and DAU
- Create convincing charts for shareholders and investors
- Gather and extract insights from research on competitors and relevant industries (media, mobile apps, etc.)
- Help define the most important KPIs to use for tracking and analyzing company health and performance
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Quantitative university degree or equivalent knowledge
- 5 years of analytical work experience
- Experience with spreadsheet models
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Strong interest in digital media ecosystems
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in Japanese
- Intermediate English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 years of analytical work experience
- MBA
- Experience related to strategy, operations, or finance
- Experience in Python or R
- Experience related to marketing / user growth
