As a key member of the Japan Leadership Team and the Global People Leadership team, you will take a front-facing role in leading HR to local needs, while working in a global framework. You will understand and help drive organisation transformation, from good to great and beyond and articulate a compelling vision for Blue Prism.
You will be required to work across different business functions whilst representing and managing the interests of the Japanese Region.
Responsibilities
- Leverage prior experience to contribute to and implement future people focused solutions on all key HR disciplines to the business.
- Ensure that HR programs and plans help drive business priorities.
- Lead collaboration with HR functions and business leaders to influence the design and implementation of HR programs and initiative.
- Jointly accountable with execs for organisational performance.
- Advise on the talent levers to enable and advance the business goals.
- Translate organisation strategy to people strategy.
- Drive HR strategies and solutions that deliver business results for the Japan Region
- Use data to recommend actions on business and people strategies.
- Champion and drive cultural efforts, change initiatives.
- Promote diversity, inclusion and belonging.
- Closely partner with key business stakeholders to deliver and support the business for success;
- Build trusted relationships to influence and coach the business through pragmatic, solution- based advice;
- Uphold your role as a key HR team player - to collaborate, contribute and support your global colleagues.
- Flexibility and interest to work on projects in various HR areas: Benefits, HRIS, Compliance, Employee Relations and Engagement
Requirements
- Proven track record as a HR Leader, with at least 10+years of experience in a HR Manager or HR Director role, ideally with in a previous experience working in a scaling global business.
- Demonstrable understanding of global and matrixed ways of working.
- Analytical with strong problem-solving and project management skills; a solutions-based approach to solving people issues.
- Good judgement with strong business acumen and ability to establish a strong feedback culture with growth mindset.
- Flexible in response to employee needs; maintaining professionalism, confidentiality and composure.
- Organizational Skills: ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and multi task.
- HRIS experience (Ultipro - a bonus).
- Broad knowledge of Japanese labor laws and practices.
- Native Japanese speaker with strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Reward and HR Operations experience good understanding and knowledge in payroll, social insurance, tax, etc. is huge plus
