You will join an early startup as a business development manager. To grow business in Japan, you will create sales leads, initiate discussions with new customers, and manage relationships with existing customers. You are part of PriceHubble’s Japan team and report directly to the Managing Director (Country Manager) Japan.
Responsibilities
- You identify and plan new sales targets and map stakeholders
- You effectively initiate sales talks and qualify your leads
- You effectively negotiate and close deals
- You create sales decks for various customer segments
- You build a trusting relationship with key partners and stakeholders
- You discuss analytical / data topics with customers and internal teams
- You identify product requirements for our customers in Japan and provide feedback to internal teams
- You initiate new opportunities by contacting potential customers and conducting presentations and representing the company at conferences and in networks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience in B2B sales
- Experience in high touch sales which require long term planning and customized approach
- An entrepreneurial mindset and some experience working with/for a tech startup as well as a grasp of analytics
- Native or nearly native fluency in Japanese
- Intermediate English in reading/writing
Nice to have:
- Fluent English. The Japan office works closely with our teams in Europe
- Experience in real estate industry or digital / web service / SaaS industry
- Familiarity in software and new technologies (AI, Big Data)
