The RoleVeeva’s Business Consulting group is a key growth area for the company. It offers a differentiated consulting service in Life Sciences with a compelling value proposition - building on Veeva’s position as the digital partner of choice for 85% of the top 20 Pharmaceutical companies.
As leader of the Japan Business Consulting practice, you will build the team and offerings for Veeva’s commercial life sciences customers: planning, organizing, and tracking all aspects of delivery, sales, and solutions within the Japan market. You will analyze complex problems, build insightful solutions and develop close working relationships with customers (through face-to-face discussions, workshops, email, etc.) to deliver demonstrable, sustainable value, at the forefront of digital and commercial innovation.What You'll Do
- Responsible for hiring and leading the Management consulting practice in Japan
- Provide advisory to Life sciences industry in areas of commercial strategy, field force optimization and digital engagement
- Demonstrated ability to build deep relationships within the local market (Senior Director to C-suite)
- Responsible for client delivery and relationship management, in addition to solution development and oversight of project delivery
- Other duties, responsibilities and projects may be assigned by the Company from time to time
Requirements
- 15+ years in Life Sciences advisory and industry experience, with specialized experience in Commercial Strategy, Field Force Optimization and Digital Engagement with an additional blend or Ramp;D experience
- 15+ years experience in Management Consulting
- Direct and recent experience running large enterprise operations, overseeing Pamp;L and across APAC geographical markets
- Direct experience bringing-to-market innovation through offerings in the AI, machine learning and commercial analytics domain
- Strong work experience in Japan, in addition to working in the US to bridge offerings and manage multinational customers
- Demonstrates deep relationships and well-networked within local market (Senior Director to C-Suite level)
- Ability to balance client delivery and relationship management with solution development/oversight across markets
- Experience driving digital transformation, data analytics and performance improvement
- Experience in Strategy formulation and demonstrated experience recruiting a team and building a Management Consulting practice in Japan
