The Role
The Director, Quality Strategy role requires a deep understanding of the life sciences quality space including GMP and GCP area and the associated eQuality applications used in the conduct of quality management including Document Management, QMS, and Training.This role will be responsible for driving the adoption of Veeva Quality products among life science customers. In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of Life Sciences industry and technology A-players, who, together, are bringing the next generation of quality and Ramp;D applications to the life sciences industry.What You'll Do
  • Responsible for growing and sustaining the customer base for quality applications by: selling vision andbuilding assetsdirect tolife science customers; using existing relationshipsto assist with GMP, medical device, small and medium pharma adoption; developing value-oriented materials oriented
  • Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in driving adoption
  • Provide business and technology guidance to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in quality applications
  • Develop strategy and messaging for customer adoption of new features and functionality for new and existing customer base
  • Coordinate resources across the customer lifecycle from sales to delivery and beyond
  • Presenting at industry conferences, leading webinars, and authoring articles for industry publications
Requirements
  • Direct experience with quality operational tasks, quality operation applications, and/or quality compliance as it pertains to GXP
  • 10+ years experience working within or for the quality area of life sciences company and eQuality solutions
  • Proven ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions
  • Ability to hold meaningful conversations with heads of quality and IT regarding the eQuality applications and their use within GXP execution
  • Understanding of the Quality market (enterprise and SMB) and associated technology trends
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations
Nice to Have
  • 5+ years experience working for an eQuality software company
  • 3+ years experience heavily working with eDMS, QMS, and/or Training technologies
  • 2+ years leading a customer or industry consortium
  • Proven track record of thought leadership through industry presentations, publications or other mechanisms
  • Experience selling software and/or services to life sciences organizations
