About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Air Import Operations Executive in our Tokyo Office. This position will be responsible for customer service and ensure smooth operations for the air freight organization.

What you will be doing

• Airfreight import shipment coordination with overseas offices and customers
• Responding to inquires received from overseas, customers, suppliers etc.
• Flight monitoring and irregular shipment handling
• Customs clearance arrangement (Documentation, commodity verification etc.)
• Delivery arrangement with customers and suppliers
• Implementing new businesses
• Input to the NACCS and our operating system and advising other parties
• Ensure data quality
• Debit/credit note issuance and invoice settlement with finance team

Requirements

The successful candidate

• Experience with air freight operations or customer service
• At least 3 years of experience working in an international freight forwarding company
• Excellent organization skill and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
