About You
As our first AE in Japan and a founding member of our Japan office, you'll be on the ground floor of an incredible opportunity to pair product-led adoption and growth with hands-on outreach. Obviously AI is currently used by hundreds of users across the globe and our users deeply love the simplicity and speed that they get when building AI models. You'll have no shortage of leads to pursue or enthusiastic champions to help you bring Obviously AI to their teams and organizations.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who really wants to cut their teeth as the first sales hire in Japan working with our partners as well as independently to find and pursue new leads. You should be excited about the idea of stepping into a role that we don't have a "perfect" template for, where you'll get to really define what our sales motions and processes look like and pursue opportunities with a lot of autonomy and empowerment. You'll report directly to the CEO, you'll be a key component of Obviously AI’s early success and have the equity and "skin in the game" to make it worthwhile.
