Job Description
CTW Inc. is a fast-growing IT company that owns and operates the online gaming platform G123. The games are based on renowned IPs, including Japanese anime, and can be played on different devices without requiring a specific app download.
After finding great success in Japan, the company is now looking to grow its player base around the world and to adapt its offerings for new markets with a number of new exciting IPs. Our games are currently available in Japanese, English, Korean, Spanish, and traditional Chinese, with French, Italian, Portuguese, and German soon to follow. In total, we are planning to work across over 14 languages.
We are now hiring talent from around the world, and planning to grow to 300 people by the end of 2022, with the ambition to make a difference in the video game industry.
Who we’re looking for
Our international team is growing quickly as we intensify our localization efforts and international development. This also means additional needs in terms of customer support, marketing, and more.
As a result, we need more manager-level team members to ensure successful operations and continuous improvement of our processes as we grow.
The successful candidate for this position should be passionate about video games, have superior interpersonal and communication skills, experience managing multicultural teams, and a demonstrable ability to deliver multiple projects on time, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.

Requirements
Key job responsibilities
- Plan and allocate resources to effectively distribute and accomplish the work to meet release deadlines and quality goals
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output
- Build standards and workflows and monitor data and results with continuous improvement in mind
- Work closely with other managers, the department director, vice president, president, HR, and other designated contacts within the organization (Japanese/English)
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Near native-level English, business-level Japanese
- Lead and build trust among a diverse, multicultural team of about 8 to 12 people(minimum 2 years)
- Demonstrable experience working with and leading people from different cultures, preferably in more than one country
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build a strong rapport with management and team members alike
- Deep knowledge of video games, with knowledge of video game terminology and language used in RPGs in particular
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with data analysis in a business environment, and ability to make use of tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, etc.
- Experience in management or leadership positions in the gaming industry, especially with localization as a main focus
- MBA degree or related Master's degree
- PMP certification or track record of successful project management
- Experience in international business development
