We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated reporter to join a team of global editors and journalists to cover Asia’s dynamic market for alternatives investments, with a focus on private equity and venture capital.
Specifically, the reporter will write exclusive, insightful, and actionable stories about private equity firms and their limited partners for publication across the PEI Media stable of titles, including Private Equity International, Venture Capital Journal, Secondaries Investor and Private Debt Investor.
The reporter will produce content that leads with analysis and has an informed perspective. This will involve collaborating with the Hong Kong Bureau Chief and teams in London and New York on ideas, sourcing, and structuring articles with an eye to delivering valuable information that consistently speaks to our audience of general partners, limited partners and industry service providers.
Other responsibilities include writing articles that profile firms and people; identifying and analysing trends in fundraising and other activities; and other key private markets community developments such as personnel moves. At all times, the goal is to explore the impact of those developments rather than merely recounting the news.

Location This role can be based in either Hong Kong, Tokyo or Singapore with hybrid working between home and office.
Hours Monday to Friday 09:30 - 18:00
