THE TEAM

In this role as Strategic Account Management, Director, you will be strategically focused in a pro- active manner with some of Evaluate’s largest clients including the top pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, financial institutions, as well as top consulting firms focused on the life science industry. You will apply the Evaluate sales methodology to achieve sales targets and the company’s strategic objectives. You will work independently as well as collaboratively with all the Sales amp; Customer Success team members to deliver outstanding client service and maximise the value of the global business. This position will focus on sales execution, individually and as part of a team, by maintaining, cultivating and growing an assigned group of client accounts.

Reporting to the Director, Sales amp; Account Management, Japan this is a new position and an excellent opportunity if you are motivated to leverage and develop your commercial skills and experience within a high-growth SaaS business.

SCOPE OF ROLE

In this role as Strategic Account Management Director, you will:

  • Achieve or exceed retention and growth goals within your client segments;
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing the sale;
  • Develop great professional relationships with all clients and prospects to maximise lifetime value of each account;
  • Work as partner and pro-actively uncover opportunities for additional users, products or services to maximise account value;
  • Use a full range of communication, sales and negotiation frameworks to expand Evaluate’s;
  • Work closely with Evaluate’s Product Management and Customer Success teams to share;
  • Follow-up all leads to establish new points of contact within assigned accounts within SLAs and document all activities in Evaluate’s Salesforce CRM system;
  • Document and manage all business development activities, account plans and territory plans through the full application of Evaluate’s sales processesservices to existing clients.


HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED

  • Your success will be measured against Customer Retention and Expansion metrics, including Subscription and Consulting amp; Analytics sales within your client base to achieve assigned quota/s;
  • Collaborate with your Account Management team members on shared accounts, and Sales Leaders, Marketing, Consulting and Customer Success to drive Account Development strategies;
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product and other departments to devise and execute Account Based Marketing initiatives
  • Generate new leads through traditional and professionally creative methods;
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline reports and sales forecasts on a weekly basis;

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES

Essential requirements:

  • You have relevant experience in B2B sales, with exposure and experience selling to pharmaceutical, financial and/or consulting clients
  • You have experience selling business data/intelligence or SaaS solutions that drive growth
  • You understand how analysis and information supports strategic decision making
  • You have a track record of over-achieving sales quota with large strategic clients
  • You have proven ability to plan, prepare, execute, and review professional meetings to achieve strategic objectives and win/win outcomes with clients
  • You have an ability to establish rapport quickly with a demanding
