Working on a worldwide basis, we provide a range of linguistic, testing, and quality control services to Video Game Developers and Publishers alike.

Supporting the KWS Audio Loc production teams in his/her region, the Audio Technical Operations Supervisor will be responsible of supervising and guaranteeing audio loc technical processes and workflows globally. Reporting to the Audio Technical Operations Manager, ATOS will make sure to implement global practises and efficiencies in the region together with global workflow and specific client’s needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • In coordination with the local Audio POC of the Studios in the region and global team, support and supervise the global workflow deployment in order to develop and guarantee an audio loc international production coordination
  • In case of production issues through Studios, act as problem solver and mediator for audio technical matters
  • Evaluating technical plus and minus of each Studio/vendor, in agreement with ATOM, define global Audio Loc quality standards and best practices, quality control systems, evaluation processes and implementation strategies.
  • In collaboration with global and local stakeholders, define the audio tools development and deployment strategy
  • Act as a consultant for local Studios in providing support for Audio technical infrastructures (internal recording rooms, post-production rooms, tools, HW, equipment etc)
  • Act as technical consultant in specific meeting with clients
  • Support in implementing innovative solution in his/her region
  • On request, cooperate with other Audio Division Teams

Resource management

  • Supports Resource Manager in recruiting new vendors compliant with KW Audio quality requirements
  • Checks and validates audio tests coming from new recordings studios
  • Acts as technical expert in managing external studios (i.e. calls, check equipment, specs, visit on site) and supports Resource Manager in case of conflicts in production
  • Monitors external studios quality with regular QAs, reports deviations and implement corrections

Audio technical training

  • Organize training sessions for sound engineers in KW studios
  • Organize calls/training/briefing to external studios so that they can cooperate with KW Audio studios proficiently
  • Acts as a bridge between KW Audio tools development team and KW Studios to make sure the tools are understood and implemented
  • Supports the SL in implementing KW Audio best practices

Requirements

  • BA on audio or sound engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience as sound engineer or similar role
  • Deep knowledge of audio localization production workflow and industry-standard audio hardware and software (mainly Reaper, Pro Tools)
  • Able to design new lean processes and procedures, and train others
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Anticipate problems/needs and find solutions
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Willing to travel 15% working time
