Join our team and experience Audiokinetic!

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new accounts, growing sales in current accounts, and overall account management functions for Audiokinetic’s products within the gaming industry.

Joining Audiokinetic K.K. means you will act as a customer advocate supported by a local team composed of Marketing, Product, Field Engineering, Customer Support and Business Development working together to best meet our customers’ needs.

What will you do?

The work involves, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for business expansion in the gaming market
  • Develop and execute strategies and sales tactics covering target market and segmentation planning, prospecting, relationship development, presentation, pricing, negotiations, and closing leading to long-standing partnerships
    • Present the value and benefits of Audiokinetic’s products to prospects
    • Connect with the industry to understand their needs
    • Identify new opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Maintain strong relationships with the existing portfolio of customers
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness
  • Acquire an excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
  • Establish relationships with customers based on trust and respect
  • Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behaviour, supported by BI
  • Build long-lasting relationships with external contacts, customers and prospects, and internal teams to create the best customer experience

This position will require travel, as necessary.

What do you bring to the team?

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience in selling gaming or enterprise technology
  • A track record building and growing brands within the software industry
  • An extensive contact network in the gaming industry (in Japan) is an excellent asset;
  • Experience working with a CRM (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • A high degree of motivation and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to anticipate how market and competitive factors could influence the selling of products and services
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and oral communications
